Job Description

Healthcare based non-profit organization located near downtown Los Angeles is looking for a CFO. While overseeing the accounting and finance team, the CFO will be responsible for all finance and accounting functions of the organization. Duties for the CFO include ensuring efficient accounting policies and procedures (i.e., fiscal budget process, regulatory and government audits, overseeing month / quarter/ year-end closes, etc.). The CFO will prepare P&L statements, conduct business analytics, manage government grants and funded programs, lead cyclical audits, prepare regulatory compliance documents, prepare tax filings, as well as partake in strategic business operations decisions.

  • Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) experience is required.
  • CPA and / or MBA is extremely preferred.
  • 8+ years of accounting and finance senior leadership experience.
  • Must have strong non-profit/healthcare, government funded program (i.e., DHS, DPH, FQHC, etc.)
  • Strong systems skills - including Excel.
  • Pay, $190 - 215k.
